Whether on hard surface runways, grass strips or your favorite river or lake, the Wipline 3000 float gives you the best of both worlds. A fluted bottom skin with sister keels – or "Speed rails" – assures excellent performance in a wide range of water conditions. The largest baggage hatch in the business is standard in both floats (25 3/4 x 12 inches with 9.5 cubic feet storage space). The aluminum skins and parts are laser cut and rivet holes are pre-punched so that replacement parts are a perfect fit. The main keel has a removable wear strip for ease of maintenance. The latest technology enabled us to build the 3000 float to be both ultra light and still north-country rugged.
1. All amphibious STC KITS include Lake & Air, Inc. landing gear advisory system.
2. All prices assume airframe is equipped with a factory installed float kit and appropriate seaplane propeller is provided.
3. STC Kit for Models 182 P, Q, R, and S include extensive airframe and firewall modifications including hoist rings, “V” brace, ventral fin, wide cord rudder, extended tail stinger and Hartzell three-blade seaplane/landplane prop. A CREDIT of $1,000/$2,000/$3,000 can be allowed for your propeller if it is deemed to be in poor, good or excellent condition respectively. Excellent condition would be considered overhauled in the last year. Poor would be considered significant visible damage or overhaul in excess of five years ago.
4. Maule installation price includes the cost of ventral fin (Maule P/N 9014) and Wipline clamp-on rear fuselage fittings.
5. Customer choice of Polyurethane or silver-gray submersion paint is included. There is no paint warranty for polyurethane seaplane floats stored in water for extended periods.
