For outstanding performance and reliability at major international airports or in bush country, Wipaire presents the Wipline 6100 Float.
The 6100 Floats are true workhorses – yet minimal maintenance is required for years of dependable service. The floats are designed to allow full use of the new high-gross kits currently offered for the Mark I and Mark III Beaver and the Pilatus Turbo Porter. They provide similar takeoff performance to other floats, yet due to the unique aerodynamic design, they provide increased cruise speeds.
1. All amphibious STC KITS include Lake & Air, Inc. landing gear advisory system.
2. Ventral fin and MK I finlet kit (P/N 6A12157-002) are included in STC kits for MK I Beaver. If Kenmore finlets installed (Kit K19-20) a CREDIT of $450 is applicable on STC kit and $600 on install price. For proper STC kit it must be noted if 5600 pound kit is installed.
3. Ventral fin, MK III finlet kit (P/N 6A12001-001), leading edge flow energizers, and enhanced attach strut kit included in “STC Kit” for compatibility with Viking 6000 pound gross modification. If deHavilland ventral fin is used, a CREDIT of $1,550 is allowed toward STC Kit and $880 on installation price. For proper STC kit it must be noted if 6000 pound kit is installed.
4. Boss Turbine Beaver STC Kit includes special composite sea fins and ventral fin.
5. Customer choice of Polyurethane or silver-gray submersions paint is included. There is no paint warranty for polyurethane seaplane floats stored in water for extended periods.
