The Wipline float construction follows Wipaire’s strict guidelines with special attention to detail. Each hull component is etched, alodined and epoxy primed before assembly, assuring that there is no exposed bare metal. The largest baggage hatch in the business is standard in both floats. The flat top deck area promotes crew and passenger safety. The rugged dual main gear assembly is well suited for paved or grass strips. The nose gear features a full-caster nose wheel mounted on a composite nose spring, which retracts into the float nose to provide a dock bumper.
The Wipline 8000 float was designed using the latest computer aided design technology, making replacement parts a perfect fit and allowing the 8000 to be light, yet still north country rugged.

1. All amphibious STC KITS include Lake & Air, Inc. landing gear advisory system.
2. Cessna 208 STC KIT and installation charge reflects a float-kitted aircraft with seaplane rudder, inboard fueling caps, “relish tray” lower firewall reinforcement and stowed shortened air stair cables. Aircraft S/N 14 and below not eligible for floats.
3. Aircraft with S/N less than 276 that are not equipped with “relish tray” firewall reinforcement are ineligible for original design reinforcement or preferably original design reinforcement plus WIPAIRE double plate reinforcement.
4. If reinforcement per 3 above is not elected and the field installed relish tray (Kit 25) is desired, please ADD kit price and installation charge. Quote supplied at customer’s request.
5. DHC-3 Otter STC KIT includes extra length spreader bars, attachment struts and steps, water rudder steering components, ventral fin and STC paperwork.
6. DHC-3 Turbine Otter STC KIT includes extra length spreader bars, attachment struts and steps, water rudder steering components, ventral fin and STC paperwork including revised turbine flight manual supplement.
7. Customer choice of Polyurethane or silver-gray submersion paint is included. There is no paint warranty for polyurethane seaplane floats stored in water for extended periods.
