Freedom says it all! No more long commutes to the lake in rush hour traffic. Go anywhere and bring along your family and friends, plus all their gear. With a range of 975 miles, the amphibious Caravan will open up a whole new world. The Caravan has proven itself to be one of the most reliable, cost effective and, most importantly, safest airplanes ever built.
The Wipline float construction follows Wipaire's strict guidelines with special attention to detail. Hull components are etched, alodined and epoxy primed before assembly, assuring that there is no exposed bare metal. The largest baggage hatches in the business (two per float) are standard in both floats. The flat top deck area promotes crew and passenger safety. The rugged dual main gear assembly is well suited for paved or grass strips. The nose gear features a full-caster nose wheel mounted on a composite nose spring, which retracts into the float nose to provide a dock bumper.
The Wipline 8000 float was designed using the latest computer aided design technology, making replacement parts a perfect fit and allowing the 8000 to be light, yet still north country rugged.
