1957 deHavilland DHC-2 MKI

This 1957 de Havilland DHC-2 MK1 Beaver, serial number 1014, is a thoughtfully upgraded, wheel-equipped aircraft built for reliable utility and short-field operations. Known worldwide for its rugged capability, this Beaver combines classic airframe strength with modern avionics and performance enhancements that make it equally well suited for private ownership or commercial utility use.

The aircraft is powered by a Pratt & Whitney R-985 radial engine, 695 hours since overhaul, paired with a three-blade Hartzell propeller for smooth operation and strong takeoff performance. The Baron STOL kit and 5,370-lb gross weight increase improve low-speed controllability, stall behavior, and payload flexibility, particularly effective in wheel configuration where wing performance directly translates to runway capability.

Operational upgrades such as Cleveland wheels and brakes, Kenmore battery forward installation, engine pre-oil system, Jasco alternator and regulator, Brackett air filter, and Precise Flight pulse landing lights round out a highly capable package.
