We operate in Minnesota, may – october and Florida, november – april. We use a C172, C180 & C185 on floats and a PA18 on 31″ AK Bushwheels for tailwheel training. We also have some solo rental opportunities available in floatplanes along with guided group flying tours in the Midwest, Canada and above the Arctic Circle.

The vast number of lakes in the area allow for local and cross country options during your float training. Come experience a world that only a float rating can open up to you.

Training is done in a Top Cub on Wipaire 2100 amphib floats.

Provide Seaplane ratings with Piper Super Cub on Wipline 2100 Amphibious floats.

This package requires the participant to have at least a private pilot certificate and current medical. Package includes the seaplane rating training and a modified american plan package at Maddens resort. Maddens also offers advanced seaplane & Cirrus training.

SST is a new training program with 4 instructors. We have a 160hp, Cessna 172L on aqua floats being used for training
