The Float Course includes normal, rough, glassy water, and confined area takeoffs and landings, as well as idle, step and plow taxiing. The course covers docking, ramping, beaching, and even a little fishing on the side. The Float Rating consists of 2 hours of ground instruction and 2 flights per day. Your check ride will take place on the third day.
